How were the Winners Established?
The winner was the building who saved the greatest percentage of water and energy per person as compared to consumption before the contest.
Although some dorms had lower total use than South B, their use was also lower before the contest meaning that South B put forth a stronger effort and ended up saving more overall.
The classroom space and conference rooms in South A were also figured into our calculations! We simply reduced square footage and use of the building accordingly so that only water and energy used by resident was being taken into consideration
Summary Results

"South B was able to lower their water and energy consumption by 6% throughout the duration of the contest!"
