The data is provided through Willimantic Waste Paper Company, Inc on a monthly basis. These detailed reports are a vital part to gauging the University's progress in its recycling efforts.

2007 Recycling Summary:
The final 2007 recycling tonnages are in. In 2007, UConn recycled 248 tons of material, up 28% from 2006. (See bottom of page for detailed analysis.) Improvements to recycling infrastructure and efforts of UConn students, staff, and faculty are leading UConn’s recycling program in the right direction. Of course, there is still room for improvement!
Ongoing improvements to UConn’s recycling infrastructure continued to be implemented:
New carts: Willimantic Waste outfitted the entire Storrs campus with new blue and green carts, designed to match the new blue and green recycling bin color scheme.
Event containers: At the end of the Fall 2007 semester, the National Recycling Coalition and Coca Cola awarded UConn 75 bottle and can recycling containers for campus events.
Outdoor containers: 10 outdoor bottle and can recycling conainers were purchased through the Green Campus Fund and the Department of Dining Services.
Catering: The Department of Dining Services purchased ClearStream bottle and can recycling containers for catered events.
Residence Halls: Residential Life began examining ways to improve recycling infrastructure in the residence halls.
