UConn Emissions Inventory Summaries

Using the Campus Carbon Calculator software produced by Clean Air-Cool Planet (CA-CP), greenhouse gas inventories for 2004-2007 have been conducted for the UConn Storrs campus.  Each inventory is started during the spring of the following year and takes several months to complete.  The goal of the inventory process is to assess and identify major sources of emissions on campus, to identify actions that can be taken to reduce such emissions, and to monitor the University's progress on an annual basis.

The 2008 inventory is currently being completed as part of the University's long-term emissions reductions commitment, as outlined by the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment
