How To Get Involved:
Research and Learning Opportunities
We encourage student groups and faculty members who may be interested in the Hillside Environmental Education Park (HEEP) site and its remediation plan, or becoming involved in the project as it progresses, to contact the Office of Environmental Policy. The HEEP provides numerous research and study opportunities in topics such as invasive species management, wildlife management and habitat enhancement, wetlands mitigation, vernal pool creation and management, to name a few!
If you would like more information concerning the Wetland Mitigation Plan, or are interested in becoming involved directly in the project, please contact:
Rich Miller (Office of Environmental Policy, Director): rich.miller@uconn.edu or (860) 486-8741
You may also request to be added to our subcommittee and mailing list to receive current information on the progress of the project, meeting notices, and other valuable information related to this plan and its future impact on the University of Connecticut.
