The 2008 EcoHusky 5000

Road Race

The 3rd annual EcoHusky 5000 Road Race was the best yet!  On Sunday March 30th 112 runners and more than 50 walkers came out to Horsebarn Hill to get some fresh air, recycle their old sneakers and show their support for greening the UConn campus . 

With the Willimantic Waste Paper Company, Inc. matching the race proceeds of the race, the 2008 EcoHusky 5000 raised $2,770 for the UConn Foundation's Green Campus Fund.
