American Lung Association
The American Lung Association is the oldest voluntary health organization in the United States, with a National Office and constituent and affiliate associations around the country. Lung disease can be caused or aggravated by air pollution, both indoors and out. The American Lung Association is active in the pollution control arena and has become the leading public advocate for clean air, as well as the chief source of information and public education on the health hazards of air pollution. http://www.lungusa.org
Boise State University Laboratory for Air Quality Research
The Laboratory for Air Quality Research (LAQR) located at Boise State University is committed to advancing the state of air quality science in the inland northwest region through research and education. http://coen.boisestate.edu/airqualitylab/
Global Hydrology & Climate Center (GHCC) Urban Climatology & Air Quality Studies
The GHCC is a partnership comprised of organizational elements from NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), the State of Alabama's Space Science and Technology Alliance (SSTA), and the Universities Space Research Association (USRA). The Urban Heat Island and Air Quality studies seek to observe, measure, model, and analyze how the rapid growth of urban areas impacts the region's climate and air quality. http://www.ghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/urban/
Health Canada: Health & Air Quality
Through the Border Air Quality Strategy, Health Canada is collaborating with its partners–American officials, other federal departments, provincial and municipal governments, industry and business interests, non-government organizations, health professionals and academics–to pinpoint the negative impacts of air pollution on human health and contribute to the development of a framework for coordinated airshed management.

Isaak Walton League: Air Resources
The Izaak Walton League was formed in 1922 to save outdoor America for future generations. We are one of the earliest conservation organizations to set an aggressive course to defend wild America by changing public policy. Almost every major, successful conservation program that America has in place today can be traced directly to a League activity or initiative. This page contains information relating to the league's activities and research involving air quality.

National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) conducts research and gathers data about the global oceans, atmosphere, space, and sun, and applies this knowledge to science and service that touch the lives of all Americans. This portion of the NOAA website focuses specifically on air quality and related topics. http://www.noaa.gov/airquality.html
Northeast Climate Campaign
The Climate Campaign is a collaborative effort of the Northeast's student environmental networks to make our schools and our states lead the way in the fight against global warming. http://www.climatecampaign.org/
UC Davis Air Quality Research Center
Air pollution research and education at UC Davis focus on urban and regional smog, indoor air quality, global climate change, health and environmental effects, and intermedia transfers. Investigations span both gaseous and particulate forms of air pollution, and employ theoretical, numerical, experimental, and policy approaches. This site provides a summary of UC Davis research and education in air quality and links to the faculty and staff investigating these problems. http://airquality.ucdavis.edu/
USDA National Air Quality Program
The mission of this program is to, through research, understand the processes of air pollution emissions from agricultural enterprises and the effects of air quality upon agriculture, to develop and test control measures, and to provide decision aids that will be useful in minimizing and reducing agricultural air pollution emissions and predicting and mitigating the impacts of air quality upon agriculture. http://www.ars.usda.gov/research/programs/programs.htm?NP_CODE=203
