	On February 5, 2009, University of Connecticut students attended a 'student summit' in the Storrs campus Student Union to discuss the University's commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050 and to strategize solutions.

EcoHusky 5K Road Race
Sunday, April 5th 2009

	Ecohusky's 4th Annual 5K Roadrace was a success with over 120 runners this year! Particpants run a scenic route along Horse Barn Hill at UCONN, while also contributing to the Ecohusky Student Group and the Green Campus Fund! Congratulations to our top female runner Allie Cooper and our top male runner Jake Corbett! See all results here!

Earth Day is a celebration of sustainability and caring for our planet on Fairfield Way! This includes Mount Sneaker which is a truckload of donated sneakers, eco-friendly vendors sharing their products and knowledge and many activities and student involvement!
